A gorgeous piece of blue banded calcite ("onyx"), polished and carved into a vintage ashtray with brass trim and cigarette rests. Really stunning piece of stone, with lovely semitransparency revealling a depth of colors and shapes within. The piece almost resembles the milky way in the sky. There is a slight amount of surface metal corrosion. Please see photos.
