'vigilandum est semper' is a latin sentiment that translates to 'always be on guard' — many moons ago I found a piece of vintage jewelry with this statement engraved on it and I've thought since about how the idea applies to so many things and so I've brought it back

while the fresh engraving is currently shiny and the rest of the ring has patina over time these will change — the ring will lose its patina as it is worn and the writing will darken with patina because it doesn't come in contact with skin oils as often

the ring has dings and dents from being worn over the years

I leave any polishing to be the decision of the buyer
